A message dated April 26, 2000, was read stating the Senate has                
passed CSHB 414(O&G) with the following amendment:                             
                                                                               
Page 2, line 21:                                                               
	Delete "who is certified"                                                 
	Insert "who                                                                 
		(A)  holds a certification"                                              
                                                                               
Page 2, line 22:                                                               
	Delete ","                                                                
	Insert  "and has professional experience in the field of                    
petroleum geology; or                                                          
		(B)"

effective date of this Act; or                                                 
		(2)  a subsequent term of office that is consecutive with the                
term of office being served on the day before the effective date of this
